Abstract
Estimados lectores:
La Revista UGC (RUGC), de la Universidad del Golfo de California se complace en presentarles el volumen 1, número 1, correspondiente al cuatrimestre del 2023. La Revista es una publicación científica arbitrada que publica artículos inéditos, que abordan el desarrollo de la ciencia de manera multidisciplinaria con una frecuencia cuatrimestral; en los meses de enero, mayo y septiembre.
Para la selección de los artículos utiliza el método de Revisión por Pares Abierta (Open Peer Review), en el que se conocen las identidades de autores y revisores. La revista provee acceso abierto (Open Access) a su contenido bajo el principio de hacer disponible gratuitamente la investigación y apoyar un mayor intercambio de conocimiento global.
En la Revista UGC el envío de artículos no tiene cargos. Tampoco por editarlos ni publicarlos en acceso abierto (APC). La financiación necesaria para la publicación corre a cargo de la Universidad del Golfo de California. La revista cuenta con un Consejo Editorial, del que forman parte reconocidos expertos nacionales e internacionales que garantizan la calidad de cada número publicado.
En esta ocasión la revista aborda temas de actualidad para la realidad latinoamericana, relacionados con el desarrollo de la ciencia, educación y sociedad. El Consejo Editorial de la Revista agradece a autores y revisores por las aportaciones realizadas para que se hiciera realidad este número. Esperamos contar con sus contribuciones en futuros números.
