Physical activity in addressing students with Down syndrome is a fundamental principle in correcting the imbalances related to intellectual disability, with physical education class serving as the ideal space to influence proper psychomotor activity. The study was directed by the following objective: to develop an inclusive teaching strategy, containing an interdisciplinary approach, that enhances the motor skills of students with Down syndrome in physical education class. The proposal establishes the application of adapted physical exercises that enhance motor skills and impact the development of inclusive processes. The research has a descriptive-explanatory scope, with a qualitative-quantitative approach. The validation of the study was conducted through an experiment, in its pre-experimental variant. Methods and techniques were used to validate the reliability of the investigative process. With the planning and implementation of the didactic strategy, achievements are obtained in the capacity for socialization and the development of motor skills, highlighting the importance of psychomotor activity as a key tool in the improvement of social integration, from a more corrective and formative pedagogical activity, for the preparation of their adult and independent life.
