The Municipal University Center stands out as a key actor in building local capacities, articulating cooperative actions to address identified problems in the economic, social, and environmental dimensions. The study aimed to disseminate the results of an action proposal designed to strengthen the training of local stakeholders, based on the experience of the Municipal University Center of Aguada de Pasajeros. A descriptive, explanatory, and non-experimental research was conducted, structured in stages of familiarization, organization of theoretical-practical information, processing of qualitative and quantitative data, and presentation of results. Theoretical, empirical, and mathematical-statistical methods were employed, including analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, modeling, document review, and interviews. As a result, a set of cooperative actions was designed and implemented to enhance the preparation of managers and professionals in the territory. The application of this proposal met professional training needs, promoted an objective analysis of demands and offers, facilitated knowledge acquisition, and fostered the effective use of the labor context. It is concluded that this initiative contributed to scientific knowledge management, the generation of innovative practices, and the transformation of the local reality.
