The construction of texts constitutes one of the fundamental objectives within the teaching-learning process in Cuban schools. The construction of texts through creative writing is a priority in Cuban educational policy. It not only stimulates imagination and personal expression, but also enhances a wide range of linguistic, emotional and cognitive skills that enrich their integral development. Correct writing and creative elaboration depend to a great extent on the student's knowledge of the subject matter to be addressed. The objective of this article is to elaborate a compendium of some theoretical considerations on the construction of texts through creative writing. Therefore, a descriptive research is carried out, using the methodology of bibliographic and documentary review, together with the implementation of analytical-synthetic methods, inductive-deductive reasoning and modeling techniques to develop a monograph for consultation addressed to professionals in the field of professional technical education. The comprehensive review, attributes and relevance of this study exert a substantial influence on the continuous improvement of students' constructions in the field of Professional Technical Education.
