About the Journal

The Revista UGC (RUGC), of the Universidad del Golfo de California, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original, unpublished articles on the development of science from a multidisciplinary perspective, with a quarterly frequency in January, April, July, and October.

The journal publishes, in open access, original research articles that, due to their rigor, originality, and added value, contribute to disseminating new knowledge and consolidating and developing different areas of science. Revista UGC does not charge any fees for submission, editing, or publication, and all publication costs are covered by the Universidad del Golfo de California.

Articles are selected through an Open Peer Review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are known. The journal has an Editorial Board composed of recognized national and international experts, ensuring the quality of each published issue.

Revista UGC disseminates original and multidisciplinary research results produced in Mexico and other regions of the world. Its aim is to promote the circulation of rigorous academic knowledge, fostering scientific innovation, the development of new methodologies, and the integration of interdisciplinary approaches.

The journal accepts submissions in social sciences, humanities, education, health sciences, engineering, technology, and related disciplines. It publishes research articles, systematic reviews, case studies, and essays, giving special consideration to work with practical applications, comparative approaches, or interdisciplinary perspectives that contribute to the theoretical and methodological development of each field.
