Comparación de adhesivos dentales de autograbado y grabado total: revisión sistemática con metodología prisma 2020

Resumen

La adhesión dental es un paso clínico esencial en los tratamientos restaurativos, y entre los métodos de unión disponibles destacan los sistemas de adhesivos de autograbado y de grabado total. El objetivo de esta revisión sistemática fue comparar su eficacia en términos de resistencia de unión, durabilidad y sensibilidad postoperatoria. Para ello, se realizaron búsquedas exhaustivas en bases de datos como PubMed, SciELO y Redalyc, incluyendo artículos publicados a partir de 2015 en español, inglés y portugués. Se seleccionaron metaanálisis y estudios in vitro que evaluaron directamente ambos tipos de adhesivos, siguiendo los lineamientos de la guía actualizada PRISMA 2020 para la identificación y evaluación de la calidad de los estudios. Los resultados evidenciaron que tanto los adhesivos de autograbado como los de grabado total son efectivos en la adhesión dental, aunque se observaron diferencias relevantes: los sistemas de grabado total ofrecen generalmente una mayor resistencia de unión inmediata, mientras que los sistemas de autograbado reducen la sensibilidad postoperatoria. Se concluye que ambos sistemas proporcionan un desempeño clínico adecuado, pero se requieren más investigaciones a largo plazo para determinar con mayor precisión su durabilidad y consolidar la evidencia disponible.
